At Native Fans, some of our early jersey visuals have been temporary draft artwork — created to help bring each character to life while the brand is still taking shape.
As we grow, our intention is clear: we want future jersey designs to be created with our communities, not just for them.
Designed with community, not borrowed from it
Our goal is to collaborate with local artists and designers from:
- Australia
- Aotearoa (New Zealand)
- Papua New Guinea
- The wider Pacific
With particular respect for Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, Māori, PNG, and Pasifika creatives.
These designs aren’t just patterns — they carry stories, identity, and cultural meaning. We believe those stories should be shaped by people who understand them deeply.
What collaboration looks like at Native Fans
Native Fans characters wear jerseys inspired by the places, cultures, and communities they represent.
Artists may collaborate on:
- Jersey patterns and motifs
- Cultural storytelling through colour, structure, and symbolism
- Designs adapted specifically for plush characters
- Concept and production-ready artwork (vector-based preferred)
All collaborations are intentional, respectful, and paid.
Designs are credited publicly, and scope is agreed before work begins.
